Week 9, Day 2 – Good news! Create your own account!

January 9th, 2010 No comments

Today, I’m happy to report that you can now set up your own account and place orders any time you like without my assistance. Of course, I’m always ready to help if you need it. Folks often prefer the freedom to come and go as they please, without having to wait on a company representative to complete their order. That time has come for the Silhouette Solution line. You can even order your PrivaTest and your Custom Essentials!

Here’s the website link:

http://tinyurl.com/MyPrivaTest

Once there, click on the “Products” tab to learn more about the products. (Be sure to also check out the monthly “Product Promotions” button to see which product is being discounted each month.) Then, when you’re ready, click on the “Shop Now for Products” button. This will take you to the PrivaTest page, where you can learn all about the importance of custom nutritionals. There’s a link on that page to “Additional Products” as well.

At the upper right of the page, you will see the “My Account” link. Click on that, and you can either log in (current customer) or “Create a New Account” (new customer). If you’re new, fill in the typical info form, and you’ll be on your way.

With one exception, I have found the products to be excellent. They’re tasty, filling and nutritious, and I’ve been losing weight consistently since I started using them. However, there is one product that I cannot recommend, for subjective reasons. While I know that tastes vary, and you may absolutely love this product, I don’t like it at all. It’s the Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal. I wound up giving it to my daughter, and she didn’t like it, either. Maybe it’s just something in our blood that doesn’t mesh with the taste, because I know people who absolutely love it, and have it for breakfast every day! If you decide to try it, I’d love some feedback about your experience.

Everything else is delicious, so don’t let this one negative review stop you from trying out the rest of the product line. They’re well made, and each of the food products contains 15 grams of protein and little or no sugar. They satisfy my hunger for hours, and I never feel deprived or hungry between meals. My energy remains at a steady level, without the sugar spike that often comes of having a mid-morning or mid-afternoon candy bar or danish, and without the crash that comes an hour or two after a meal.

I know that by using these products, I’m feeding my body the nutrients that it needs to thrive, and my body knows that it will be fed again in 2 hours, so it never gets to the point of desperate hunger and no longer constantly begs me for more food. My binge days may be over! It sure feels that way right now! I can’t begin to tell you how freeing and uplifting this is!

Give these products a try. I know you’ll love them. Let me know how it goes. Tell me about your energy level, your hunger level, your weight loss. I’d love to hear from you.

Week 8, Day 7 – I’ve lost the holiday weight gain

January 7th, 2010 No comments

Weight: 187

I’m happy to report that I am now back on track, weightwise. The holiday damage has been dealt with. I also want to report that I’m getting a better night’s sleep these days, as well. This is a very good thing. My energy level continues to improve, too, along with my mood. The blahs are gone, teary times are gone. This morning, the first email I sent out stated, “It’s a glorious day!” This plan is really working! Belief is a powerful thing, and I truly believe in what I’m doing.

This week, I plan to place an order for some of the new healthy snacks for kids. I know, they’re for kids, but I’ve heard such good things about them from kids and their parents that I just have to know what they’re like. Kids are loving these snacks. They love the taste, and they love the fact that their parents are happy to see them snacking. Win-win! They also report that they love knowing that these snacks were brought into the house specifically for them. This product is getting very popular, very quickly.

The company website for this product is not ready yet. I’m thinking of putting up a web page of my own to make it easier for people to order these products themselves. If that happens, I’ll let you know. In the meantime, you’re welcome to continue contacting me, and I will see to it that your order gets placed and sent right to your door. You can email me here, leave a comment on one of my posts, or call me at 401-368-7160.

Week 2, Day 5 – Healthy snacks for kids and teens

November 24th, 2009 No comments

Do your kids fight you when it comes to eating healthy foods? I’ve got a solution for you that will get you and your kids cooperating about food choices, while providing them with the nutrients that their growing bodies need. This is truly a win-win situation!

Along with the other products, like protein bars, smoothies and shakes, the company has just come out with a group of products geared specifically for children. These products provide healthy snacks for kids. (Adults like them, too.)

What child today couldn’t make healthier choices when it comes to snacking? These products are specifically geared to provide an average of 15 grams of protein, along with other important nutrients, in a tasty snack that kids can enjoy.

Depending on the ages and taste buds of your children, they might also enjoy products geared more for adults and teens, like the BBQ Soy Puffs. These are similar to barbecue-flavored cheese puffs, but they’re balanced for weight loss and good nutrition, with 15 grams of protein, 3 grams of sugar and 120 calories per individual package.

If your kids are not into BBQ flavor, similar products are the Sour Cream and Onion Puffs and the Chocolate Puffs. Both provide the same crunch satisfaction and the same nutrition as the BBQ flavor. Kids love ‘em, so there’s no struggle getting them to add good nutrition to their diet.

Other products in the line that kids might enjoy are the protein bars. These come in a variety of flavors, including Chocolate Delite, Blueberry-Pomegranate, Lemon Blast and Peanut Passion. I love them all!

This product line also offers healthy and yummy meal-type foods, like chocolate caramel granola cereal, cinnamon apple oatmeal, and a variety of soups.

You’re sure to find some products that your kids will love, and you can feel good about these choices, because they provide more protein and other good stuff than what you can purchase on the shelves of your local grocery store.

If you’d like to give any of these items a try, visit the Ideal Health website.

Week 2, Day 2 – Kids and obesity

November 21st, 2009 No comments

I heard a statistical prediction on the news yesterday that made me shake my head in disbelief. It stated that the generation of children living today belong to the first generation that will not have a longer average lifespan than their parents. They attributed this prediction to the ever-growing problem of childhood obesity. How sad this is in a country such as ours.

Ideal Health just came out with a new line of healthy snacks for kids. I plan to order some and give them to the kids in my family. I’ll let you know how that goes.
